The Government has issued guidance asking the UK public to avoid all unnecessary social contact for the foreseeable future, and this will affect all planned Essex 2020 events.

Colchester Castle Planetarium 18 February 2020

Climb inside Colchester Castle’s Planetarium this half term.


Stargaze and experience the wonders of the night sky at Colchester Castle. See the constellations unfold before your eyes and learn all about Roman beliefs linked to the stars. 


Bring the children along to our amazing pop up planetarium to learn more about our planet and the solar system. With expert commentary to guide you through the starry night, learn more about universe in a rather unique setting. Afterwards join the craft activity tables to get creative and have plenty of fun!


This event is suitable for 4+ and children must be accompanied by an adult.


45 minute sessions at 10.15 – 11am, 11.15am – 12noon and 1.30 – 2.15pm, 2.30 – 3.15pm and 3.30 – 4.15pm

Taking place on Tuesday 18 February and Thursday 20 February booking is essential and as space is limited we advise booking early. Call 01206 282941 to book.
