Green Marine with Travelling Natural History Museum

Join Marine Boy and Aqua Girl from Stansted’s The Travelling Natural History Museum as they host ‘Green Marine’ the second of three online live streaming events, supported by Essex 2020.

Green Marine is a workshop looking at both prehistoric and modern marine life, with particular emphasis on the seas of today, touching on the amazing power of Algae versus just a few of the issues that are arising.

Look out for lots of our amazing large scale models, including a Giant Megalodon Jaw, Life size Orca and an Octopus, to name but a few!

Enjoy fun and informative demonstrations from Marine Boy and Aqua Girl incorporating the ideals of STEAM; such as ‘The Importance of Accuracy around Crocodiles’!, ‘The Hammer Head’s Secret Tool’, and an Epic “predator or prey?” Battle!

Craft activities will of course feature, with easy to follow home resource kits, including Making Your Own Fishing Game and an Art Attack project using autumn leaves.
