Talks are usually scheduled in advance and limited to a maximum 5 minutes each but we have two exceptions this month. We invite you to propose a talk using this form: http://exa.is/rjamsignup Talks need to be child safe, the session is moderated to encourage younger participants and recorded.
Jam Jar: When talks conclude, participants can join breakout rooms for informal un-moderated discussion in smaller groups, not recorded. Jam Jar sessions can last up to two hours. There is no obligation to join or stay the duration but you might prepare refreshments in advance.
This event is organised by Southend Tech’s friends at Preston Raspberry Jam / Exa Foundation and features people from Preston and other Raspberry Jams including some of the Essex Steamettes.
Southend Tech will be organising Raspberry Jam activities during the second half of the summer holidays, get in touch with them if you’d like to do a talk, show a project, help at or run an online workshop.
