Chelmsford Carnival Junk Band Videos

Our friends at Chelmsford Arts & Cultural Festival invite you to join the Chelmsford Junk Band and create your own instruments out of recycled materials.

Want to be in our band for the carnival (which we still live in hope will happen this year)?? But not just any old band, we present to you the Chelmsford Junk Band.

What on earth you may ask is a Junk Band? Well let us tell you…

With the stipulation of only using re-cycled material, we commissioned the wonderful Joe Fleming to create some instruments that can make up a carnival band.

Starting this week and every Monday in August we will show you just what he came up with. Have lots of fun getting creative, they are very simple to make.
